Following my sold-out solo performance at ArtScience Museum last year, I was honoured to present another sold-out performance at SAM, with 111 people in attendance.
Set in front of Hiroshi Sugimoto’s Spacescape, the performance was an improvisational ambient set, unfolding slowly in dialogue with Sugimoto’s contemplative images. As the music filled the space, some listeners were gently lulled to sleep — perhaps one of the most fitting ways to experience ambient music.
My album Into the Darkness of the Night was also played throughout the Spacescape exhibition, making this collaboration especially meaningful to me.
I’m deeply grateful to the Singapore Art Museum team for this opportunity, and I hope this is the beginning of more projects exploring the intersections of sound, visual art, and space.

また、展覧会《Spacescape》の会期中、私のアルバム『Into the Darkness of the Night』を会場で流していただきました。
